Why Fine Cement Dust Is a Problem

Frequently Asked Questions​
When should I book post-renovation cleaning?
Book after major renovation works are complete, including drilling, sanding, painting, carpentry adjustments, and final touch-ups. If contractors are still working, dust may settle again after cleaning.
Is post-renovation cleaning different from deep cleaning?
Yes. Deep cleaning is for general home build-up, while post-renovation cleaning focuses on fine dust, renovation residue, paint marks, window tracks, ledges, floors, and newly installed surfaces.
Should I clean before or after furniture arrives?
Where possible, book before large furniture, mattresses, curtains, and daily items arrive. This gives the team better access to floors, corners, windows, cabinets, and hard-to-reach areas.
Can all paint marks, dust, or stains be removed?
Not always. Fine dust and surface residue can usually be reduced with proper cleaning, but some paint marks, adhesive, scratches, or surface damage may need separate specialist treatment. We will explain what is realistic before starting.
What should I prepare before the cleaning?
Make sure major works are finished, loose renovation debris is removed, and water and power are available. It is also helpful to share your floor plan, renovation status, and priority areas before the appointment.
